Strength & Box

This circuit-style class will leave you feeling incredibly strong, empowered, and unstoppable. We will use a mix of strength training and boxing throughout the class to keep it moving quickly and to keep it lively. The boxing variation scheduled throughout the month will include punching bags (gloves are provided) and cardio kickbox (a strong hitting choreographed style of boxing).

 

Functional Force

If you are looking for a class focused on functional strength without cardio, this is the class for you! We will train to move in and resist all three planes of motion, focusing on strong, powerful full-body strength training movements that will get your heart rate soaring. You will leave feeling sweaty and physically challenged all over. 

 

TRX & Sandbag

Whether you are new to TRX and/or to using Sandbags or a seasoned veteran, look no further! We will train to move in and resist all three planes of motion while focusing on strengthening the body’s movement patterns using two of the best functional tools on the market. The TRX uses body weight as resistance while the Ultimate Sandbag load choice varies depending on the exercise.

 

4 Minute Blast

Be prepared to sweat! This class is broken down into 4-minute blocks to focus on strength, power, and agility. Do not be fooled by the simplicity of the layout of the class. We will challenge you to push out of your comfort zone and celebrate successes you never thought possible. The rowing machine will play a large part in the power block in this class, while the strength and agility blocks will vary from class to class. New to rowing? No problem! I will teach you! This is a very safe and encouraging environment to learn in.

 

Full Body HIIT

This class will challenge your strength, cardiovascular fitness, and comfort zone: a combination of functional strength exercises mixed in with fast, hard-hitting cardio intervals. Modifications will be provided at all times so all fitness levels can enjoy this quick and efficient full-body class.

 

Strength & Mobility

Focus on core strength and mobility as we connect different movement patterns to enhance our overall movement abilities. Improving core stability will not only enhance our ability to move through our joint’s full range of motion, but it will also help to improve balance. We will focus on muscular strength and endurance as we challenge the number of reps within the flow patterns and/or increase our time under tension within each position. Be prepared to use the TRX, Ultimate Sandbags, and Superbands.

 

Training for Teens

This 45-minute class is for children born in 2006/2007/2008. Movements will include strength and cardio activities where safety, proper movement patterns, and form will be of the utmost importance. 

These drop-in classes max out at 4 participants only. This means that I will be able to provide individualized attention to your child throughout the class. The classes will include bodyweight activities where safety, proper movement patterns, and form will be of the utmost importance. Proper loads will be added in on an individual basis as they are earned.
